We want to be able to offer something to our guests when they aren’t on retreat, so we are committed to bringing you offerings from our retreat leaders to bring you some extra sources of grounding, creativity, energy, and more.

First up, we have Jen Carter, who often leads our Mindful Movement retreats with yoga and meditation. Based in NYC, Jen teaches yoga and meditation at top New York yoga studios as well as to corporate and private students. She has been practicing yoga since the 90’s, but it wasn’t until 2010 that Jen realized her true calling to teach. After years of working in the corporate world, her life shifted dramatically when she suffered a traumatic head injury during an accidental fall. The fall and subsequent road to full recovery was Jen’s awakening to a deeper journey into yoga and meditation. She also maintains a daily meditation practice, and she views her purpose in life is to share the beauty and ease of that practice

This week’s offering is a Yoga Nidra guided meditation. which we do often on our retreats in an evening session, after a long day of sightseeing. Jen says:
