Here on the blog, we are excited to bring back Karma Connections, posts where we share people who are doing cool things, whether it’s working with a non-profit, creating something beautiful, or generally inspiring us with their lives. In the world of business, don’t often get to share things just because we like them, but we are fortunate to have space here on the blog to connect and share the things that bring us joy. And our first post back in this series is definitely someone who fills the world with more beauty.
You may remember from our past posts, one of our past guests and collaborators is Rupi Sood, the curator of international arts and culture publication J’AIPUR Journal, an international arts and culture publication telling East-meets-West stories about people and places that inspire. They have a mission to observe, listen and contemplate, an idea that we fully support here at EPM.
The magazine promotes the tenets of quality journalism and highlights the work of emerging and established creatives who have a connection to the East. It is being produced by a small team of designers, photographers, researchers and writers from around the globe with headquarters in New York. The jewel-like pink city of Jaipur (India) serves as a muse for her beauty, history, and gypset spirit, but the magazine is truly a crossroad where East and West, old and new, creativity and culture, converge to reveal interesting stories along the way.
In addition to the online journal, they have now created a print version, available here. Each edition is a work of art unto itself. Covering history, culture, music, photography, essays, design and more, you are assured page after page to see vibrant color, intricate detail, inspiring stories and compelling narrative.
To get your own copy of J’AIPUR Journal, you can visit here. And you can visit India yourself on our retreat to Goa, March 25-31, 2019! Come see the beauty that makes India so unique and special! Thanks, Rupi, for inspiring us continually!
